what is the speed of this train?
Petition to bring back 10 car hst back
So good love watching this over and ovet , this was lockdown song 2020
I see class 166 when I was in Stapleton Road!
48:30 beautiful view
Two things of note here, from Reading to Maidenhead my granny is quicker on a moped, and multi-million pound trains need henry the hoover 😂😅!
The biggest mistake of GWR was getting rid of the class 43 HST
Gwr didnt pay their water bill!😢 no water in the window wiper system
I adore British trains
This was extremely useful for me as I have short term memory loss and I find it hard to navigate new places so videos like these are vital for me
This is my local station
So GWR will be helping the RNLI to Ferry more illegals into this country then?
Do you let Daily Mail headline writers do all the thinking for you?
Look forward to sampling on 2nd July!
That food looks delicious 😋
Nice one 👍
Good Video FGW 👍
Good One This Would Allow a Few More Class 165s and 166s To Move To The Bristol Area 👍
Well It Will Be Good To See How The Trial Goes Battery Powered Trains May Work 👍
Nice 👍♥️
Good One 👍
The Guy Will Be Missed By Many
Where was this based in
I Agree 👍
Very useful video apart for the 'musak' but...why are the seats on your new Hitachi long distance trains so uncomfortable GWR?
Not surprised another sign livery this is getting old quickly
Station name captions would have been nice!
Disappointing that this didn't go ahead. Good news is though, I've heard that ScotRail might be getting them to replace the 156's. UPDATE: Yup, it's official. I've just seen a picture of one in ScotRail unbranded blue.
2024, from Overseas: why was this the 'last high speed train' ? We haven't even got to medium speed yet!
I love the HSTs - i am emotionally attached to them, always have been. I want them back :(
Was not expecting to skip reading but it was during covid so it makes sense
Exactly 4 years ago
When can we have it electrified and extended to Oxford like, what was proposed eight years ago?
Love it
Heathrow is better
nah (kidding)
On smelly, loud diesel engines that crawl at a snail's pace
😅😅😅
75 mph is a snails pace?
90mph @@SouthernRex

Good idea for the Greenford shuttle: I think u should extend it up to Ruislip Gardens and then you can make new shuttle services with the Greenford one still in ude
Who do you prefer? High speed trains? (HST) Or Intercity Express Trains (IET) HST trains is class 43 and IET Trains are class 801, 802, 803, 804 and 805. I prefer IET
Great idea! Keep going this way
Do any folk commenting here actually work on these trains? Holy moly they’re hellish.
От чего такое внимание к этому рейсу?
What number is the train?
800024 according to the description.
@@philkeeve6577 thanks 👍
❤ HRH Princess Anne
She's been the Princess Royal since 13 June 1987! Whatever her title, she does what must be at times a tiring and frankly boring job extremely well. I've long suspected that she is the solid shoulder on which members of the royal family know they have have a good cry and no-one will know.
Helpful, but would be better without the 'musak'. Thank you.

Why
I like gwr and first great western so much
I think this is an excellent idea for all the Thames Valley & Cornish branches. I really do hope it’s a success. Well done to GWR for securing some of the Vivarail stuff.
The horrible Hitachi heaps just go to show how well engineered and designed the 125's were - better seats, better comfort, nicer lighting, more reliable. British railways are in a mess, and GWR are one of the best providers out there at present.
why can't they just electrify the north downs line and bring a normal service
